Upper Canada Land Petitions

To Find A Petition

First, go to the index:

Type in the name of the person you are looking for, and when the list shows up, click on the person you want and further details show up.

Write down the film # and petition #.

Next, visit the page below:

Click on the film # that you want.

Now you need to jump through the pages until you get to the petition # that you want.

I often go half-way and see what petition # it is at, then jump again either way to get closer.
There is a little box at the top or bottom with the page number you are viewing.
You can highlight that number and type in a new number to jump.

Once you have found your petition, you can save the pages (one at a time) to your computer and then print or send as e-mail as needed.
