Branch members place a memorial wreath at the Longwoods Cairn in memory of Loyalists who fought in the Battle of Longwoods in 1814. Members also participate in the Education Day at Longwoods in late April by telling students about Loyalist ancestors and activities.

This year the Branch will have displays set up at Fanshawe Pioneer Village for Doors Open in September. As well, in 2011, the Branch will initiate a scholarship for an enthusiastic graduating history student at a local high school.
