Family History :  
Family Genealogy : An interesting side note is that John Williams III went back to New York State and married there - Selina Brewster of Ellisburgh, New York.  Her grandfather Timothy Brewster, a descendent of Mayflower passenger William Brewster, served on the American side during the Revolutionary War.  John the III as the son of a Loyalist received land in St. Vincent Twp., Grey Co. and he and Selina are buried in Lakeview Cemetery in Meaford. 
Selina Brewster (Ephraim, Timothy, William, Nathaniel, William, Love, William) married at Ellisburgh, N. Y., December 11, 1828, John Williams, son of John and Elizabeth (Simmons) Williams of Bath, Ont. born there, February 6, 1804; died at Saint Vincent, Canada, March 21, 1880.
