Family History : Memorials for John Ryckman by his son and widow
Family Genealogy : Great grandson of Albert Janse Ryckman, Capt., & Mayor of Albany 1702-3). He had a brewery on the east side of Broadway nr s. corner of Hudson & Broadway streets that became the property of Pieter Bronck). His own great grandson married a desc of Jean Baptiste Rousseaux, an Indian interpreter for Joseph Brant (see Dictionary Canadian Biography).
