Biography : Lots 21 & 22, C5 in Saltfleet went to his brother, 1765 born Thomas Davis UEL, also granted on 24 Oct 1798. Although he was the first of his family to arrive in Saltfleet (in 1790), Thomas has a longer history with Lots 5 & 6, C8 Barton Twp. He was also known in the Charlotteville (Long Point) settlement where his widowed mother, Jane, had been granted L1, C14 in Windham Twp. He married twice (the second time badly) and had 15 children.
