Biography : William appears to have been a professional soldier, part of the Britrish army, during the American Revolution. He would thus not qualify himself for UE status. However, it appears that his wife Margaret was the daughter of a UE Loyalist and their descendants could qualify through her. Here a short biography and two generations of descendants.
