Sons John and Jessie received land in Digby, Jane 'Jennie' married Phineas Arnold (also a Loyalist), and Sarah commited suicide at the home of her brother John in 1797, 'because her lover deserted her.' I have no further information on Peggy or young David. However, I have a feeling that David age 2 is probably the son of Sarah, who was said to be married to a Mr. Morrell. I further think that this marriage never took place and David of course was born out of wedlock and Mr. Morrell did not travel with them to Nova Scotia. [Submitted by Susan Feindell, UE]
