On Canada Day, Monday July 1st, Kingston & District Branch had a booth in the park and then a parade float in the village of Bath, just west of Kingston. Bath’s Canada Day Parade has been called “the best small-town Canada Day Parade” in eastern Ontario.
The people on the float were: Jean Rae Baxter UE and Derk Sherren at the front; right side (back to camera) Nancy Cutway UE; right side Eva Barnes; across the back Miles O’Reilly, Mrs. O’Reilly, Lorraine Sherren UE.
Photos above were taken by Patricia Kempson
We had a lot of fun, and talked to a lot of people at our booth before the parade.
