UELAC Charter – Calgary to Vernon

June 1 - 3, 2010

Travel from Calgary through the Rocky Mountains to the UELAC's 96th AGM on a one-way trip leaving June 1st with West Trek Tours and a host to answer all your questions and show you the best of what this drive has to offer. West Trek has over 12 years experience in the tour business and you can rest assured that the experience will be unforgettable.

Pricing is based on the number of registrants (with a minimum of 15) as follows:
17-29: $599
30-39: $499
40 & over: $399
A 10% deposit is required, with the total amount due April 30th.

Tuesday, June 1
9:00am	Meet the group at the Sandman Inn, Calgary Airport Need to overnight in Calgary the night before? We've arranged a special rate at the Sandman Inn, Calgary Airport, for the night of Monday, May 31st. Click here for more details.
11:00am - noon	Banff Tour with stops at Surprise Corner, Bow Falls, & The Cave and Basin (admission included)
noon - 12:30pm	Supermarket stop where guests are encouraged to buy a picnic lunch (lunch not included)
12:30 - 2:00pm	Picnic lunch at Cascade Ponds followed by a stop at Lake Minnewanka
2:00 - 4:00pm	Banff tour continues with a photo stop at the Banff Spring Hotel followed by a ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain on the Banff Gondola (included)
4:00pm	Check in at the Mt. Royal Hotel in the heart of Banff. Free time until dinner.
6:30 - 10:00pm	Meet in the hotel lobby and then head out for dinner at The Paddock. The group has a choice of 4 dinner options.
After dinner	Free time to relax or take a stroll down one of Banff's many historic streets.

Wednesday, June 2
8:00am	Breakfast at hotel (included)
9:00am	Depart hotel. En route to Moraine Lake we follow the banks of the Bow River past majestic Castle Mountain.
10:00 - 11:00am	Moraine Lake
11:30 - 2:30pm	Lake Louise
3:30 - 4:30pm	Emerald Lake and the Natural Bridge
5:15pm	Check in at the Sportsman Lodge in Golden. Guests should bring bathing suits to take advantage of the hotel's indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna.
7:00pm	BBQ and campfire (included)

Thursday, June 3
7:30am	Continental breakfast at hotel (included)
8:15am	Depart hotel

8:15 - 9:00am	Stop at Rogers Pass Interpretative Centre
10:15 - 10:35am	Stop at Craigallachie (“The Last Spike”)
noon	Drop at the Prestige Inn in Vernon where registration for the 2010 AGM begins at noon with the first scheduled event at 1:30pm.

May 31st Accommodations in Calgary

Twenty non smoking rooms (10 kings and 10 doubles) have been reserved at the rate of $124. Please call the toll free Central Reservations line at 1-800-SANDMAN and refer to the group confirmation number 282693. At that time you can provide your name and credit card information to block room.

All rooms not picked up by the cut off date of May 1, 2010 will be released for resell. They have also reserved a one bedroom suite called a corporate king should anyone like to book that room, rate is $144. (It has a pull out couch if your party is bigger than two people).

Shuttle instructions from the Airport: - Exit through the doors on arrivals level near meeting Place C. - Cross the street to Bay 10, pick up the phone and dial the code #28 for Sandman. - The shuttle will arrive within 10-15 minutes (complimentary pick-up).
